Visit of a delegation from the Nyasaland African Congress to England to discuss educational problems with the Secretary of State for the Colonies. Includes a note of a meeting between two of the delegates, the Secretary of State and Dr Hastings Kamuzu Banda on 3 June 1948. The file also includes a number of detailed reports and memoranda on education in the protectorate, and a letter from Dr Rita Hinden, Secretary of the Fabian Colonial Bureau, to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, requesting clarification on issues relating to the proposed visit of the delegation, and on the nomination of African representatives to the Legislative Council.
