Reference key to conventional signs. Engraved by J & C Walker. Published at the Admiralty, London, 14 May 1858. Large corrections 1885 and 1896; small corrections 1889. Signed by J F Crease, Maj Gen [RMA]. Originally accompanying letter dated 9 June [1898] to the Secretary of the Admiralty.
