To Villars from Ormonde: he has received letters from the court telling him that two officers have been sent to Dunkirk to concert the surrender. He asks Villars to send Colonel Lloyd there with the king's letter of instructions. Lord Strafford has not yet arrived, but Ormonde understands that the Dutch are more inclined to peace. Dated at camp at Château de Cambrésis. ff. 47, 48
