To Ormonde from Villars: he encloses a package for Ormonde from Colonels Abercrombie and King, who have arrived at Dunkirk. He invites him to act in concert to determine a date for the surrender of Dunkirk, and for a cease-fire. The prince of Hesse and General Dopff have been reconnoitring Landrecies. He will oppose them with all his forces and is confident that Ormonde will not interfere. Dated at camp at Noyelle[s-Godault]. ff. 43, 44
