Description:

Elector Palatine to Lieutenant General Baron von Bettendorff : despite the failure of the British and Dutch to provision the troops adequately, he is to continue his march to the rendezvous. After resting ten days, if he is still not adequately provisioned, he is to return without further orders to the upper Rhine with the eight battalions. If the funds arrive, he is to provision the troops according to the enclosed list [SP 87/6/90]. He has informed the two powers and the king [Augustus II] of Poland of these orders.
