[Major General] Seissan [to Marlborough]: the enemy's enterprise against Sardinia has been frustrated by Admiral Norris, who has landed [at Barcelona] the German troops from Genoa. In view of Starhemberg's need, it has been impossible to obtain troops from him, but Stanhope intends to use troops from Tarragona and Port Mahon. [Norris] is only awaiting a fair wind to sail, and Seissan feels confident against de Nouailles' troops. Dated at the roads of Barcelona.
