Description:

[Philipe François] de Meulemeester [?To James Butler, second duke of Ormond]: having learnt that Mr. Speaker Bromley did not receive his package, he has sent another. He is amazed that the house should be so upset over the £6,320 Marlborough received from M. de Medina and thinks that Mr. Shuttleworth has imperfectly understood the French and Flemish letters. He has sent Bromley the enclosed letter so that he may read it in public. Another plenipotentiary should join Lord [Major General Charles Boyle, fourth earl of] Orrery. Dated at The Hague. ff. 762-764
