Adam Cardonnel to Under Secretary George Tilson: the French have not taken the Moselle into account. They are in Flanders in large numbers, although the weather has prevented action by either side. Which seal should ratify the treaty with the Prussians. He encloses a letter [SP 87/4/13] from the count de Ligondes; Marlborough sees no harm in his returning to his house.
