Marlborough to Lord Sunderland: he has received Sunderland's letter with Count Briançon's memorial, and refers him to his letter to Count Wratislaw [SP 87/3/28]. He encloses a letter from Major General Palmes in Vienna which indicates that the court is better disposed to satisfy Prince Eugene. The queen has declared herself in favour of the duke of Lorraine. A French plan to capture the castle of Antwerp. He will march to Bellingen to join the English and other forces which wintered in Flanders. Dated at Brussels. ff. 61,62 |
