'Projets': It is agreed that the Dutch and German armies should be united to form a third army to operate on the Moselle. It should be 40,000 strong, and consist of imperial troops as shown at letter 'A'. Prince Eugene should command it. In this way the electoral army of Brunswick would still be 45,000 strong and the Dutch would not be excessively weakened. Troops remaining under the command of the elector of Brunswick [Hanover] are shown at letter 'B'.
