Harley to Marlborough: he encloses a letter from Hanover and a letter from M. Chamissart to M. Pallard. The Swedish minister is pressing the court at Berlin to enter the triple alliance. Harley has asked the lord treasurer to ask leave for him to go into the country. He assures Marlborough of his sincerity and friendship. He had no part in the nomination of [Blackhall and Dawes] the bishops [of Exeter and Chester]. ff. 748, 749
