Marlborough to Harley: news from France of a British success in the Mediterranean. There are reports of a successful action by the duke of Vendôme against the Germans. He has received a letter from the king of Prussia threatening to withdraw his troops. He encloses a copy of it [SP 87/2/191] with his answer [SP 87/2/192], and a letter to the grand chamberlain [SP 87/2/193] He is uneasy as to the king's intentions. He encloses information of 'desperate fellows' who have gone aboard the fleet. Dated at The Hague. ff. 383, 384
