Marlborough [to Harley]: he congratulates Harley on his appointment and encloses a letter [SP 87/2/36] and paper [SP 87/2/37] by a person employed by the king of Prussia to negotiate a treaty with Bavaria. Prince Eugene is with him and Prince Louis [of Baden] is expected The former will hasten to the Rhine to command the army there. The English infantry and artillery are some marches behind him.
