The Planning Division H was the creation of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government in 1970 but the prefix PH was not used until late 1970 when under a reorganisation following the creation of the Department of the Environment, branches of the Division changed from being denoted by a number to being denoted by a letter. Following the reorganisation, the Division comprised one branch (PH1), the functions of which were: land compensation, planning and open space land transactions and disposal of surplus government land by government departments. Under a reorganisation of the Planning Directorates in 1971, the Division was dissolved and its functions transferred to Planning Division G. |
