Includes detailed reports of the disturbances from police and other official sources, as well as information on the arrest of Mr Alexander Bustamante. There are also articles from the Jamaican and British press, and two printed reports: Report (with appendices) of the Commission appointed to enquire into the Disturbances which occurred in Jamaica between the 23rd May, and the 8th June, 1938 (Jamaica, 1938), and Report (with appendices) of the Commission appointed to enquire into the Disturbances which occurred on Frome Estate in Westmoreland on 2nd May, 1938 (Jamaica, 1938).
