Title: High Court of Admiralty, and Supreme Court of Judicature, High Court of Justice, Probate, Divorce and Admiralty Division: Admiralty Registrar: Reports
Description:

The records in this series are reports made by the Admiralty Registrar in cases referred to him by the court. They relate mainly to claims resulting from collisions, but some concern such matters as bottomry, seamen's wages, salvage, payments for stores, etc. They consist of entry books of reports, 1843 to 1911, and copies of reports. Reports from 1907 are often accompanied by the Registrar's reasons for his decisions. For the years 1907 to 1928 the latter consist of a selection only. The early volumes contain indexes of ships' names.
