Correspondence and minutes of the Wildlife Scientific Advisers and reports of regional sub-committees of the Nature Reserves Investigation Committee. There are also papers from the personal collection of Edward Nicholson, Lord President of the Council, relating to the organisation of Nature Conservation in Britain, and from Robert Edward Boote, first Director General of the Nature Conservancy Council about the re-organisation of the Nature Conservancy.

The papers in this series relate to the work of the Wildlife Scientific Advisers, who sat on the Wild Life Conservation Special Committee, and the regional sub-committees of the Nature Reserves Investigation Committee.
