Catalogue description Registry of Friendly Societies: Intermediate Record Files of Trade Unions on the Register in 1971, Rules and Amendments etc

This series contains intermediate files of rules etc for unions or associations still on the Register at the time of the introduction of the new system of registration under the Industrial Relations Act 1971. The files consist of annual returns, copies of rules and amendments, lists of senior union officials and, in some cases correspondence. The files consist of information which was subsequently superseded.
