Arrival of the `Great Brazil Fleet' from Bahia, with gold worth £720,000 and a richly-laden warship from India, and a 40-gun ship of the Africa (Corisco) Company. Latter have established a Factory at Loango and taken 500 slaves from two Dutch prizes. Spanish and Portuguese royal marriage treaty finally concluded and celebrated with great splendour.
