Description:

Series of Treasury Records that are cross divisional in nature or whose exact origin is unclear. They include the General (G) files series in T 163 and the Precedent Books in T 211 relating to the Central Registry, 1920-1948; minutes and papers of the Committee Section in T 277; reference material accumulated by the Treasury Officer of Accounts in T 292; Historical Memoranda in T 267; a series relating to the John F Kennedy Memorial in T 179; a collection of papers concerning Treasury regulation of the Bank of England in T 241; records relating to the Direction of the Board of Crown Estate Commissioners in T 329; the Lister Collection in T 376; and a series of specimens from series that have been destroyed, in T 900.

The Treasury's own Establishment Officer's branch files are in T 199, while establishment circulars and notices to other departments are in T 242, T 243, T 244, T 293, T 297 and T 310. Selected personnel files are in T 268. The files of the secretariat of the official side of the Whitley Council are in T 275.

Registered files of the Treasury's Parliamentary Clerk are in T 745 .
