Description:

Manuscript prize appeal No 511, from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Antigua, filed in 1804.

Captured ship: Harriott Brig (master Christopher O'Connor).

Nationality: American.

History: bound from Bordeaux to Philadelphia, laden with brandy, wine, almonds, prunes and dry goods; taken about 22 March 1804 by HMS Colpoys armed schooner (John Eagan commanding), and brought into Tortola and then Antigua.
