Manuscript prize appeal No 194, from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Gibraltar, filed in 1797.

Captured ship: Christian Haab (master Peter Petersen De Groot).

Nationality: Danish.

History: bound from Genoa to Amsterdam, laden with oil and fruit; taken on 24 May 1796 by HMS Chichester (Robert Devereux Fancourt commanding), and brought into Gibraltar.
