This series consists of bonds entered into by shippers engaged in the coast trade not to land goods except at the ports declared; certificates by port officials of the fulfilment of the bonds; orders by Customs officials to allow goods to pass coastwise to be landed at a stated English port; and analogous documents.

The entire series is unfit for production

Details of cargoes carried by certificate, for which shippers had entered into bonds, were recorded in the coasting books of the officials of the ports of departure and arrival in E 190
