Catalogue description Exchequer of Pleas: Depositions

These are the depositions of witnesses taken before a master or other person by order of court, or by commission abroad, under the acts of 1831 and 1854, including also some examinations of judgement debtors under the latter act. Many exhibits are included with the depositions by commission.
