Accruals: Following the development of OSP 26: The regulation of civil aviation 1972-2002, it has been decided that no further accessions into this series will be made.
Administrative / biographical background:

The Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for many types of licences covering aerodromes, air transport operators, air travel organisers, professional pilots, flight engineers, flight navigators, private pilots, radio telephony, air traffic controllers and aircraft maintenance engineers. It also issues aeronautical engineering certificates and validation certificates on foreign flight crew licences.

Applicants' qualifications are assessed and, in the case of personal licences, formally examined on a regular basis before a licence can be issued or renewed.
