Catalogue description Cases: Treaty

Up to 1905, this subseries consists of general cases and related formal records of business dealt with by the Foreign Office's Treaty Department; some of the types of records were not always dealt with by the Treaty Department, but were included here for convenience.

From 1906, this subseries contains only formal documents produced in the course of diplomatic and consular representation, such as Letters of Recall, Consular Commissions and Exequaturs, Full Powers, Royal Letters and draft Ratifications of Treaties
