Defendants: John Gee clerk, late lecturer at Newton chapel, Richard Goulden, recusant convict, John Fortescue, Frances Fortescue his wife, Thomas Daken their servant and attorney, Roger Bradshagh esq, John Ince gent, James Martin clerk, and others.

Subject: Slander (recited in full, including charges of denouncing the Prince of Wales' marriage with the infanta of Spain) against plaintiff Josiah Horne's conduct and orthodoxy in Wigan, Newton, Warrington, Budworth, and elsewhere.
