Short title: Viscount Fenton v Warde.

Plaintiffs: Thomas (Erskine) Viscount Fenton [Fentoun, Scotland] and Elizabeth [Erskine, Viscountess of Fentoun] his wife, administrators of the goods of Sir John Norreis kt of Heywood, deceased.

Defendants: Margery Norreis, late the wife of the said Sir John Norreis [Norris, Norreys] and formerly the wife of John Warde, citizen and leather-seller of London, Richard Powle gent, John Sherfe, Nicholas Pyll, Thomas Keene, Christopher Smith, Francis Capper, Robert Wilson, and others.

Subject: Extorting the signature of the said Sir John Norreis, when not capable, to a demise of the manor of Heywood, and of a rent-charge of the parsonage of Bray, tearing a chapter from the Bible which treated of the duties of women to their husbands, malversation of debts due to the said Sir John Norreis and of his goods, forgery of a will in his name, libellous petitions, etc.
