Calendars of indictments at the Central Criminal Court providing reference to corresponding indictments in CRIM 4. Entries are made by sessions under initial letters of surnames of persons indicted for felonies and misdemeanours.

Arrangement:

These bound volumes are arranged in alphabetical order of surnames of persons appearing at each Old Bailey (Central Criminal Court) Session. The numbers in the Calendars are those which appear on the top right hand corner of the indictments which are themselves filed in numerical order. Other numbers on the indictments would seem to reflect an earlier arrangement.
