The documents contain papers relating to the Eastern colonies; in particular Ceylon, Hong Kong, Labuan, Mauritius, Weihaiwei, the Straits Settlements, the Malay States (especially the Federated Malay States) and Malaya. Other individual prints concern Aden, British North Borneo, the Maldive Islands, the Seychelles, and Singapore. Also included in the series is a print (in CO 882/3) relating to the Falkland Islands, and two prints (in CO 882/1) which additionally relate to the Falkland Islands and the North American colonies. |
