Demise by Thomas de Clare, brother of Gilbert de Clare, earl of Gloucester and Hereford, to Dame Rosamund, late the wife of Sir Geoffrey Marmyun, of land, etc. of the manor of Chakenden belonging to him by reason of his wardship of John son and heir of William Marmyun, from the feast of the Annunciation, 50 Henry III, to the full age of the said John. Witnesses:—Richard de Mora, Robert de Esthall, William de Huntecumbe, John de Burefeud and Walter de Hanley, knights, Roger de Brome. Oxfordshire. London, Wednesday in Easter week, 50 Henry III.
