Feoffment by Cristiana daughter of the late William de Alegate, 'feleper,' to Jorninus son of Abraham, the Jew, of a messuage in the parish of St Botolph in Estsmethefeud, between the land of Walter le Porter to the south, the land of John de Sancto Ositho, carpenter, to the north, being 26 ells long of the iron ells of the king and 5 ells wide; to hold by the rent of a clove gilliflower at Easter for all service; consideration, 40s. beforehand in gersum. Witnesses:—Sir Walter Hervy then mayor of London, Walter le Poter and John Horn, sheriffs, Ranulf de Andebur', under-constable (sub conestabulo) of the Tower of London, Walter le Porter of Christcherche, John Godale, and others (named).
