Counterpart indenture of feoffment by Thomas Patford of Spryngfeld, co. Essex, to John Neell the younger son and heir of John Neell atte Watir late of Springfeld of all the lands etc. there and in Little Waltham, co. Essex, which together with the said John Neell atte Watir, Thomas Birde, Nicholas Boxstede, William Love and Eichard Bette since deceased he had by the feoffment of John Wodward late of High Easter (Alta Estern); to hold to him the said John Neel the younger and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten, with remainder in default to Isabel wife of Richard Artur, his sister, and the heirs of her body, with remainder in default for sale, in accordance with the last will of John Neell the elder late of Spryngfeld, grandfather of the said John Neel the younger. Essex. 19 March, 2 Richard III.
