Grant by Thomas called le Tholesam, Roger de Portlond, clerk,and Adam Navereattom, rector off St. Nicholas Hacun, executors of the will of Elyas de Tholesan, clerk, to Sir Adam de Stratton, clerk, of 30s. yearly quit rent that Elyas had by the sale of Ralph de Alegate, clerk, issuing from a tenement in the parish of St. Martin in the Vintry, London, in the lane called 'Pikardeslane. ' For this grant Adam has paid 10 marcs to fulfil the said will. Witnesses:- Gregory de Rokesle, Mayor, Stephen de Cornhell', Robert de Rokesle, sheriffs of London, and others (named): [Middx.] Endorsed: Memorandum of enrolment in full Husting, Monday after Ash Wednesday, 14 Edward I. Whereupon came Ralph de Alegate, clerk, named in the will of Elyas de Tholesane as one of the executors, and acknowledged he had never administered, and never hereafter would wish to administer, the said will, ratifying whatever had been done by his co-executors in the premisses.
