Coin face: worn smooth, possibly smoothed out to deface it officially; slight traces of bust and crown, much distorted; traces of letter forms around edge, but nothing identifiable; bevelled edge. Shaft: square in section at base where spike joins shaft,chamfered to octagonal, passing to round section below coin face; spike blunted and slightly turned over at tip. Height of shaft 88 mm. Height of spike 39.5 mm. Diameter. of coin face with bevel 23 mm. Without bevel 21 mm.
