Legend: + POS / VI o - EV o / ADIVT / OREM EBO / RACI / CIVI / TAS / Early R. Coin face: two or three areas worn, probably from rusting then cleaning; bevelled edge. Striking face: much fractured; one segment missing back to central shaft. Ms label: '1/2 Groat Edward III/ York 1351-60'. Height 45 mm. Diameter of coin face with bevel 27.2 mm. Without bevel 24 mm.
