Kent: Isle of Sheppey: Sheerness. Plan of the fortress, showing the progress of work between August 1803 and February 1805. Reference notes. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet. Compass indicator. Signed: Lieutenant Colonel H Rudyerd, Royal Engineers, 17 February 1805. A note states: 'This plan was alter'd to assimilate to that accompanying a report of Royal Engineers dated 19th October 1813'. Pencilled additions show Ordnance boundary lines; additions dated 7 April 1820.
