North Africa: GAF operational report; air protection for Luisiana convoy leaving Navarino Oct 28 for Benghazi; Italian destroyers Geniere, Aviere and Legionario to leave Taranto carrying fuel for Tobruk, Oct 30; air transport available to carry anti-tank weapons and ammunition for North Africa from Italy and Greece Oct 26; cargoes for Emilio Morandi, Algerino and Tripolino carrying rations, fuel, equipment and ammunition for GAF and Army; Allied infantry attacks supported by armour penetrating near Deir El Munassib, attack near Deir El Anqar repulsed.

Mediterranean: all U-boats ordered by Hitler to attack convoys Oct 25.

Kesselring orders GAF to prepare for expected Allied attempts at sea-, or air-borne landings, Oct 27; orders to meet Panzer Army fuel shortages rendered dangerous by sinkings of tankers and supply vessels; GAF in Africa reinforced by fighter and fighter-bomber aircraft, Oct 27.
