Indented exchange of lands between Beatrice [of Kent], abbess of Lacock, and William Bluet, knight. William grants 'la Storteforlange' opposite the abbey church, 'Burtforlange', a well upon his land in Lachameslie, which they might enclose and farm and then divert a watercourse through his land, in return for a grant in fee of the croft that Thomas de Ponte held from the abbey, the land that Alditha de la Hele held in the field that extended to 'la Morbrigge', the land that Peter Pulche held in the same field, an acre of land at the head of the same field, an acre of land that Alditha held in Wiueleshangere, and half an acre in La Inhoke. Witnesses: Richard de Gatesterte; Richard Horn; Thomas Bubbe; Richard de Wike [Wick]; Jordan de Haydonwike [Haydon Wick]. Seal (armorial) attached.
