Description:

Register of salaried and waged staff in the traffic, police and telegraph departments and on the Ashby & Nuneaton Junction Railway. Includes breaksmen, messengers, tariffmen, telephone boys, foremen, yard inspectors and shunters (traffic), signalmen, gatemen, lampmen and porter signalmen (police), clerks, telephone attendants and messengers (telgraph) and station masters, signalmen, porters and clerks (Ashby and Nuneaton Junction Railway).

Gives some or all of the following details: name, capacity, date of birth, date of entry into service, height, rate of salary or wage, date and where transferred from or to or date and cause of leaving, medical examination class, class in insurance society and date of entry, class in provident society and date of entry, class in pension fund and date of entry and number in service.

Appears to cover the Southern half of the network only.
