Document description: Assessments (individuals) for the second collection, roll of 5 rots. Includes names of individuals At the end of the roll for Scarsdale there is a list of convicted recusants who were charged the poll tax introduced in this subsidy for Catholics. Other recusants, who fell into the normal thresholds of the assessment on lands or goods, were taxed under the main vill in which they were resident. |
