| Note: | Indented, illuminated border with flowers, Tudor Rose, crown and fleur de lys, and ER within cartouche;; Bound with: Statues and refoundation, indented, for the thirteen poor knights, with a list of the endowmnents, and of the continual and regular charges. Signature of Cecil (f0 32v); illuminated frontispiece, with portrait initial of Elizabeth I, and border with flowers, arms of St George (silver, now tarnished, and cross) and royal arms within cartouche;; Binding: inner binding of red-dyed ?pigskin; red silk ties, outer chemise of velvet, lined with silk, and bordered with cords of red and yellow silk, and silver wire, with corner tassels |
