Administrative / biographical background:

Capital and maintenance programmes for the Procurement Executive (PE), which included overseas work, constituted a significant proportion of the work that was carried out for the Ministry of Defence by the Property Services Agency (PSA). Close liaison was maintained with Defence personnel and some of the material in the files has been copied from MOD papers.

In April 1990 most of these functions were taken over by PSA International, one of the new PSA businesses formed at that time.
