Description:

Medical journal of the Princess Charlotte convict ship from 9 February to 24 August 1827 by Charles Cameron, surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in conveying female convicts to New South Wales.

Folio 1: The prisoners came on board 5 March 1827. On that day 40 women and four children came on board from Newgate. Except Mary Davies, who is afflicted with incontinence of urine, all the women appeared in good health.
