Medical and surgical journal of H.M. convict ship Mariner for 3 November 1826 to 5 June 1827 by [B.W. Ternan?], Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed conveying convicts to New South Wales.

Folios 13-14: John Iverson, aged 24, private, 39th Regiment; disease or hurt, pain in the bowels with tormina, purging and slight tenesmus. Put on sick list, 4 December 1826 at Motherbank. Discharged 23 December 1826 at the Cove of Cork.

Folio 15: Patrick Trainor, aged 23, private, 39th Regiment; disease or hurt, a large bubo in the left groin, two chancres and slight gonorrhoea. Put on sick list, 7 December 1826 at Motherbank. Discharged 23 December 1826 to duty.

Folios 15-18: Thomas Cunningham, aged 60, convict; disease or hurt, chronic bowel pains. Formerly under the care of Mr Taylor in the hulk. Put on sick list, 9 January 1827 at the Cove of Cork. Died 19 February 1827.
