Reference tables; conversion tables from kilometres to other European units and vice versa. Based on information supplied by the Ministry of Public Works, [Paris]. Engraved by P. Rousset. Published by J Andriveau-Goujon, Paris, 1851. Coloured MS additions show electric telegraph lines in operation in August 1851. Endorsed: 'Map shewing the lines of Electric Telegraph at present in operation in Europe. Inclosure No 3 in Lieut: Galton's Dispatch of 5th August 1851.'
