Admiralty chart of the Gulf of Finland, also showing neighbouring mainland coasts. An inset shows elevations of Forts Risbank, Kronslott, Alexander, Peter I and Menchikoff. Reference key to abbreviations and fathom lines. MS reference table lists the British fleet in the Baltic. Scales: chart 1:39,706; elevations 1:1,200. Compass roses. Lithographed by Malby & Sons. Published at the Hydrographic Office, Admiralty, 16 June 1855. MS additions show the order of battle for a proposed naval attack during 1856. |
