'Turkey in Asia': map of the area between Adrianople (now Edirne), the Caspian Sea, the Persian Gulf and Alexandria (Egypt), showing main towns. Scale: 1 inch to about 111 miles. MS additions, coloured, showing an area proposed to be given to Italy. The memorandum concerned future negotiations with Italy in regard to the Anglo-Franco-Russian agreement. |
