2 items (formerly enclosed in a letter from John Trevor Barkley to [Henry Austin] Lee, private secretary to Sir Charles Dilke, 5 July 1880) extracted from FO 78/3195. Ottoman Empire: Romania: Constanta. 'Plan of Kustendjeh Harbour': 2 copies of a map showing the original shore-line, the boundary of the [Danube and Black Sea Railway and Kustendjie Harbour] Company's land, and land filled in by the company. Scale: 1 inch to 6 chains. Compass indicator. Originally illustrating (1) a print of the Convention [on the harbour],signed 10 October 1870; (2) 'Terms of the Concession of the Imperial Danube and Black Sea Railway', published by the Levant Herald, Constantinople, 1875.
