1 item extracted from CO 23/2. Five plans on a single sheet. Three plans of the fort at Nassau, Bahamas, showing it (1) as repaired and enlarged by Governor Phenney; (2) as designed to be finished by Governor Phenney; (3) as it was found in ruins by Governor Phenney. Plan (4) and section (5) of fort (Fort Walpole) to guard the eastern entrance to the harbour at New Providence Island, Bahamas, as designed by Governor Phenney, Drawn by Edward Oakley and engraved by B. Col. Declaration on oath, 3 June 1731, by Captain Aspenwald, that the drawings truly illustrate the descriptions made of them. |
